The next Meta Quest Gaming Showcase will take place on the 20th of April, 2022, as announced by Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg. At 10 am Pacific time on Twitch, Facebook, YouTube and Oculus TV. The 2nd annual showcase will feature updates and latest VR game announcements for this year.
Hosted by Ruth Bram this year around too, who is the executive producer at Oculus Studios – fans are eagerly looking forward for “new announcements”, updates on the latest VR titles, first-looks for various gameplays, “and a whole lot of surprises”. There aren’t many indications by Meta regarding this year’s gaming showcase, but avid players are expecting to get some updates about Vertigo Games’ newest titles this year as they partner with Oculus Studios.
The upcoming Among Us VR port is also awaited by fans, which was announced at the Game Awards last year to be launched for Quest, PC VR and PlayStation VR. Last year’s showcase also announced updates for some fan favorites like Resident Evil 4, Pistol Whip, The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners etc. This year’s gaming showcase will be majorly focused on latest game updates for both in-development and to-be developed VR games. Let’s hope we get a detailed look at what’s in the cards for Boneworks’ Stress Level Zero spinoff, Assassin’s Creed VR and the much anticipated GTA: San Andreas.
