Beat Saber, one of fans’ favourite VR rhythm games, where they can slash blocks of fresh beats in a very excitable neon VR environment – is now going to have another new DLC music pack. This time, by none other than Fall Out Boy. The American pop-rock band, formed in 2001 and responsible for giving us exhilarating rock hits in the early-2000s, has announced on Twitter that they will be launching a new music pack for Beat Saber.

The band tweeted on the 29th of March regarding this thrilling new VR DLC, hitting us with a fresh wave of nostalgia as they also mentioned the tracklist that will be included in the pack. It will be released on March 31st, 2022 at 5:00 pm GMT. All supported platforms are compatible with this newly launched music pack. The tracklist will include the following songs:

  • Centuries
  • Thnks fr th Mmrs
  • This Ain’t A Scene, It’s An Arms Race
  • Immortals
  • I Don’t Care
  • My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light Em Up
  • Dance, Dance
  • Irresistible

The DLC pack will cost players about $11 and individual songs will run them up at $2. The preview video for this new launch shows their usual eclectic neon VR environment, albeit with more fiery elements burning the stage ablaze with additional fireworks. Overall, quite a stimulating preview which I am sure fans are eager to enjoy.

Over the years, Beat Saber has had many DLC music packs from popular artists as part of it’s portfolio. These include packs from Imagine Dragons, Linkin Park, Greenday – all under the Interscope Label. To be frank, I feel like they may be milking an old VR classic too much. But personally, I will always wait for cool new music packs to add to my collection, especially if its my favorite nostalgic rock bands from the 2000s.
